Songs of
Hope
Reviews from previous gigs & events
It was a joy to meet and work with Lucy on BBC1’s Songs of Praise. We are privileged to cover a huge range of inspirational and church music on the show and work with many different and wonderful writers and performers. Unfortunately we can only feature very few so it’s a great testament to Lucy and her talent that all the producers unanimously agreed to a special shoot to capture her performance Bless the Hands That Bless for the programme. Lucy was wonderful to work with and her song went out in what became one of our most popular episodes of the year. Lucy’s words and music touched a great many people.

Lucy is wonderful! I have had the pleasure of hosting her for two concerts at my church, one with her band and one solo concert. She is punctual, professional, and kind, and was a dream to work with all the way through the planning process, and on the days of the concerts. She is an incredibly gifted harpist and singer, and has a real innate musicality. Her music covers a really lovely spectrum and was enjoyed very much by a real mix of different people of different ages and backgrounds. Her performances were just lovely and her spoken introductions to each songs or piece of music were personal, relaxed and articulate. I'd highly recommend an evening with Lucy Bunce!

One of our best ever concerts was given by Lucy and her band -- it attracted a very diverse audience and everyone found something to hum along to by the end! Her upbeat personality coupled with fantastic musicianship mean she's a sure fire hit. Great CDs and songs on Spotify to buy as well..!

We enjoyed an amazing Christmas Concert with Lucy. It was streamed, as we were in lockdown, but it was enjoyed by everyone. She performed some well known carols with beautiful variations, as well as some wonderful new songs. We can't wait to invite her back again! Thank you Lucy!

Lucy is exceptionally gifted and while her magnificent harp is the first thing to get your attention - her vocals are equally inspiring. Lucy has a broad repertoire including her own compositions. Perhaps the best known of these is her BBC broadcasted tribute to the NHS written during Covid - "Bless the hands that Bless". We have partnered with Lucy at our own conferences and she will be a repeat guest for many years to come.

You can host Lucy for SONGS of HOPE, a beautiful evening of
harp & vocal music in your own venue. Typically an evening includes
two sets of 45 minutes, with an interval in the middle. Lucy charges £250
or a 50/50 split of ticket receipts, whichever is the greater. Please contact
Lucy to discuss your requirements. lucyharp@me.com
